Face Frame cabinets include a frame on the front side of the cabinet box. Doors and drawer fronts overlay or sit on top of the frame when closed. Drawer boxes and cabinet accessories fit within the face frame openings.

Frameless cabinets utilize the most interior space of the cabinet box. This construction essentially has two sides and a back, with door and drawer fronts fully overlaying the edge of the side panels. Shelves, drawer hardware, and cabinet accessories are installed on the side panels of the cabinet box and maximize the width of each cabinet.
